Palm Coast Plein Air Painters will start painting on Wednesday mornings, weather permitting. January 5th and 12 we will be painting at the Princess Place Preserve: 2500 Princess Place Road, Palm Coast FL. From I-95 you exit # 293, the Matanzas Wood Parkway. Turn east and go to the first street on the left, Old Kings Rd. and take it about 5 miles. You will see a sign for Princess Place on the right. Go through the forest, over the covered bridge and straight back all the way to the Historic Lodge. There is an open grassy parking area for the park. But, you may want to drop your gear at roadside near the lodge and swing back around to the parking area. It will save you a rather long walk, hauling your gear. Most of us will be painting around the Lodge. There is a big lake, marsh views and twisted old oak trees. It is a beautiful site. Rest rooms are available. For those who would like to, we stop at 11:30 to critique the mornings work. Some bring bag lunches to continue conversations and meet one another. We hope to see you there.
