Our client is urgently seeking one laborer for a solar project in Illinois. Pay is $18 per hour, with $75 per diem for each day worked. Work schedule is Monday through Saturday, 10 hours per day starting at 7:00 AM. If you are interested in consideration for this position, please be sure to email me your resume at the email provided.
PILE STAGE, TO RACKING STAGE, TO CONTINUE TO MODULE INSTALLATION
Operate UTV’s if needed.
Pile Install Laborer:
The Pile Crew Laborer/Installer follows directions given to the team by the Foreman/Lead/Operator on how to successfully install Steel Posts (Piles). Tasks consist of shaking out and helping operators install steel posts (piles) at the correct embedment so that they are within tolerances of the design parameters.
Tools Used: Straps, levels, tape measures, markers
Racking Crew Install Laborer:
The Racking Crew Laborer/Installer follows directions given to the team by the Foreman/Lead on how to successfully install a Racking System onto the Steel Posts (Piles). These tasks consist of staging material next to each post and teams working together to assemble and bolt down a steel frame onto the Post.
Some Racking systems are stationary and require that the system be bolted down to the steel posts.
Other Racking systems use motors to track and move with the sun.
Tools Used: Drill Guns, nuts, bolts, clips, Tilt Brackets, Torque Tubes.
Install Laborer (Module Crew):
The Module Crew Laborer/Installer follows directions given to the team by the Foreman/Lead on how to successfully install Modules onto the Racking System.
Tasks consist of opening Solar Panel Boxes and carefully placing panels onto the racking system.
Workers then bolt down modules to the steel frame using power tools bolts, spacers and clips.
