Join an established Real Estate Development Company with over 400 units nationwide is looking for hardworking general sub-contractors to add to our Chattanooga area team. Currently looking for General Handyman to assist us with work orders, turnovers, and rehabs. Qualifications: • Experience in General Contractors/ Handyman type repairs including some or all the following: o Plumbing o CHA o Electrical o HVAC o Repair o Painting o Flooring o Fixture repair and replacement o Site clean up o Property Demo o Landscaping General Requirements: • Contracting License is a plus. • At least three years of professional experience in the field. • Use of your own tools and equipment needed. • Reliable transportation to and from job sites. • Reliable and hardworking. • Ability to work with little supervision. • Good communication skills. • Computer knowledge including, but not limited to, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel. • Appfolio knowledge is a plus. • Ability to submit before and after photos of jobs or projects. Job Responsibilities: • Plumbing: Troubleshooting various fixtures such as faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and toilets. • Must be able to repair/install problems found and restore back to working order. • Electrical: Troubleshooting and repairing GFCI’s, Installation and repair of lights, outlets, ceiling fans etc. • Drywall patching, installation, trim, painting, and general repair work. • HVAC: Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. • Other duties: Perform odd jobs as needed (ie. Door hanging, gate repair, window/cabinet installation etc). • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks. • Provide clients with support and guidance on maintaining their equipment.
