What better way to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of KC (RMHC-KC) than playing sand volleyball in the middle of winter? Kansas City’s Red Shoe Society will be hosting a tournament inside the dome at Volleyball Beach on February 26th and would love your participation and support! All proceeds from the event will support keeping families together locally at RMHC-KC. The tournament will include three divisions (recreational, intermediate, and competitive) of coed teams consisting of 3 girls and 3 guys. Teams can have more than 6 players but must be evenly distributed in terms of gender. Check in will begin at 4PM with pool play starting at 5PM. Entry for a single team will be $180 ($30/player) and can be purchased through the Eventbrite link on this page. The Volleyball Beach bar will also be open for the duration of the event if you would like to order any food or drinks. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event and prizes will be awarded for categories including ‘Best Team Spirit,’ ‘Recreational Winning Team,’ ‘Intermediate Winning Team,’ and ‘Competitive Winning Team.’ If you have any further questions, please post to this event page or email Mackenzie at [email protected] and a response will be provided as quickly as possible! The Red Shoe Society is a group of philanthropic professionals with a collective goal to attract members to raise resources, broaden the volunteer base and enhance awareness in the Kansas City community.
