Designed for those individuals with little to no firearm experience. Live-fire range session will follow the classroom instruction.
Designed to teach students the basic knowledge of gun handling, topics include: firearm safety, firearm nomenclature, ammunition options & uses, storage & maintenance, fundamentals of pistol shooting including, grip options, stance options, sighting fundamentals, and trigger control.
Students will receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of an NRA Certified Instructor. This certificate is accepted by the Florida Department of Agriculture to apply for the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
*NO FIREARM NEEDED* Firearm rental and ammunition is included in the class fee.
Range fees, targets and safety equipment is not included and paid by student directly to range provider.
