The greatest path to a thriving and engaged life happens when a youth understands their talents and develops them into strengths to LEAD. A youth's greatest path to a thriving in an engaged life happens when they understand their talents and develop those talents into strengths. The mindset of understanding your strengths embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement. For youth to learn these leadership concepts early it allows them to approach change and various situations where they feel empowered, motivated, and capable of taking things into your own hands. In honor of MLK's Leadership, the Explorers will complete the Strengths Quest toolkit, gain understanding of their unique talents and strengths. The Explorers will complete Strengths Quest. Results will be reviewed with them to help them understand their Leadership capabilities. The Explorers will complete the Strengths Quest assessment via a provided access code by January 8, 2022, and the results will be reviewed with them during the session. The session will also have a leadership presentation facilitated by Tayler Onion. Tayler's background in is Higher Education, Sports, and Leadership Development.
