About our speaker: "Born into a conservative New England family and raised by parents who taught me all the basics, it has shaped me into the person I am today living at the base of the Pocono Mountains in PA. I was lucky enough to live childhood that is best described by saying it resembles a Norman Rockwell painting. That led to a very successful career ..... until the recession of 2008 - 2009 In 2009, I was at rock bottom. I wrote Turbo Charge your Life as a road map for others of how I pulled myself up and turned my life around. You do not need to be at the bottom to be motivated by it, it is a book about operating at a higher level all around and was written to help all levels of the public better their lives. Since that time (2009) I have turned the last $65.00 I had into a two rapidly growing businesses – Dealer World and Agency345 - and I am a cofounder of a 3rd – Dealer Funnel. My skills as a businessman have always been two-fold. One, to drive customers to a business through great advertising and marketing plans. Two, to motivate the staff of any company I have consulted for, ran or owned. My true loves in life are my family, mentoring others to grow and succeed and a little golf in between." AAF Mobile Bay is a local chapter affiliated with the American Advertising Federation. As a member of District 7 and the national AAF, the chapter welcomes members located in Mobile and Baldwin counties with an interest in advertising. AAF District 7 is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that is committed to serving the communities across the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennesee and the lower half of Louisiana. The mission of AAF District 7 is to strengthen local AAF affiliate organizations (clubs, federations and college chapter members) through leadership training, education, communication, idea forums, enrichment, and recognition programs; promote advertising industry standards; encourage professional development; enhance and encourage business opportunities for professional and student members; defend the advertising industry against adverse governmental action; and act as a liaison between national AAF and local chapters to ensure the vitality of the advertising profession.
