Press release from the Village of Port Chester: December 28, 2021 - 11:56am Please be advised that out of an abundance of caution, and in response to rise in positive COVID-19 cases here in the Village of Port Chester, the Port Chester Senior Center will be closed for a few days beginning Wednesday December 29th. There has NOT been a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the center. Although the center will be closed for in person and indoor activities, we will maintain our regularly scheduled meal calendar and have these meals available to our seniors for pickup in the afternoon on Wednesday and Thursday. Home Delivered meals will continue to be provided to those seniors currently on the program. The center anticipates reopening for regular operation on Monday January 3rd. The center's New Year's Party Scheduled for Thursday has been postponed to Wednesday January 5th. However, on Thursday, December 30th we will have our burning bowl ceremony outside. You are invited to come at noon and write down everything negative you wish to leave behind in 2021 and burn it in our fire. You can also pick up a to go meal.
