MILWAUKEE, WI — A multinational beverage company with a Milwaukee location will require its office employees to get a COVID-19 booster shot. The Molson Coors Beverage Co. will require new hires and corporate employees in the U.S. to get a COVID-19 booster shot unless they have a medical or religious exemption, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported. Molson Coors said that 99 percent of its office workers were already vaccinated in September and imposed a vaccine requirement for office workers in August. But the federal agency isn't enforcing the rule because of a federal court order. President Joe Biden called on American businesses in early December to require employees to get vaccinated or to be tested weekly in the face of the omicron variant. As of Dec. 6, 60 percent of businesses reported they were implementing a program to ensure their workers were either vaccinated or tested every week, Biden said in a statement.
