The Town of Waterford will distribute the majority of its' 2,580 Covid-19 At-Home Rapid Test Kits Friday, December 31st 10am-12pm at Waterford High School. This distribution is a cooperative effort with our local Public Health Department, Ledge Light Health District, and the Town of Waterford Emergency Management Department. This distribution is a proactive regional effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus and the omicron variant. Like all other local municipalities, Waterford personnel is scheduled to pick up the At-Home Rapid Test Kits from the State of Connecticut on Thursday. Waterford residents can pick up one (1) of the At-Home Rapid Test Kits (2 tests) between 10am-12pm Friday (while supplies last) inside Waterford High School in the Fieldhouse. Residents will need to bring proof of residency, such as a drivers license or mail addressed to the resident. Parking at Waterford High School will be available at both the upper and lower lots. Both entrances to the school will be open for your convenience.
Masks are mandatory.
Please Note: Changes in times, locations and drive-thru option vs indoor option may occur in consultation with the Public Health Director.
