HARLEM, NY — A woman was hit by a train at a Harlem subway station Wednesday morning as she apparently walked along the tracks, according to authorities. The collision happened around 9:40 a.m. at the 1 train station at West 145th Street and Broadway, in Hamilton Heights. The 30-year-old woman was hit by a train heading downtown. An NYPD spokesperson could not say why the woman had been on the tracks. She was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition, police said.
