Looking to hire Custodian Workers for an upcoming project in the Palo Alto area. Experience with Hotel Housekeeping preferred, but not necessary. Job Description: · Clean dorm rooms; bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms · Clean windows, closets, desk, chairs · Clean outside of the building, picking up trash, sweeping Responsibilities: -Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met. -Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. -Pick up trash/gum or food that is in the parking lot. -Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. -Dust and polish furniture and equipment. -Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Replace light bulbs. -Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. -Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive. -Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. -Any other tasks assigned not listed. Requirements: -Ability to stand for a prolonged period -Ability to work on ladders -Manual dexterity -Works under close supervision -Must be able to effectively work within a team environment -Communicate and can follow verbal/written direction - Must be available for the following schedule: 6:45am to 3:15pm and 7:45am to 4:15pm - Must be authorized to work in the United States. - Must be able to stand, bend over and do some lifting throughout the 8-hour shift. - Must be able to follow proper uniform rules. Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time Work safely and with urgency Attention to detail Must be able to work Weekends and mid-day shifts: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Monday from 12PM - 8:30 PM Must be able to clear background and other client requirements Use of non-slip shoes and uniform Reliable and work in a team setting Must be fully vaccinated
