We currently have an opening for an Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team! This position will be responsible for planning, scheduling, directing and supervising all Housekeeping and Laundry Services employees and resources. Responsibilities: Ensure routinely scheduled and special cleaning of all residential apartments, health care units, and guest rooms in the building is completed to the established cleaning standard. Oversee routine, special contact cleaning and pest control of all public and common use areas in building as directed. Order, receive and maintain inventories of all supplies, tools and equipment. Make capital purchase recommendations to Facility Services Director. Perform and document quality assurance inspections of all housekeeping, custodial and laundry work performed to assure consistent quality control. Participate on a hands-on level and work as Laundry Attendant or Housekeeper as needed. Delegate and assign appropriate tasks/work to team members. Work with the Facility Services Director to review employee performance and discipline as needed. Provide coaching and counseling to Environmental Services employees in alignment with core practices, policy and procedure. Support Facility Services leadership in ensuring standardized best practices, policies and procedures are refined, implemented and followed. Ensure all employees are trained. Qualifications: Three (3) years’ experience in housekeeping, custodial, cleaning, laundry or a related field. Entry-level leadership experience in a related field is preferred. Skill in the operation and proper maintenance of housekeeping, custodial and laundry equipment and tools. Ability to fill out forms and keep accurate records. Ability to read and understand labels.
