Press release from Albuquerque Public Schools: December 28, 2021 Many people came together to create special memory videos for Dr. Peercy, Lorenzo Garcia, Candelaria Patterson, and Elizabeth Armijo.  Board members watched a short version of the videos, and the outgoing board members were each given a longer video with messages unique to them.  Outgoing board members also received a Nambe platter with their name, years of service, and the APS logo etched on it.  They also received framed artwork of an apple from an APS student artist that included a quote from Robert Louis Stevenson that read, "Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seed you plant."  Finally, they received a box of dessert gold bars as a gift for their family as a recognition of the sacrifice their families made while the board members were serving on the board.   This press release was produced by Albuquerque Public Schools.
