LAKEWOOD, NJ — Authorities are urging motorists to avoid the area of Route 9, also known as River Avenue, near Cross Street Wednesday morning following a crash involving multiple vehicles. An alert from Lakewood police did not give details of how many vehicles were involved or information on injuries. The crash is just south of Cross Street, police said.
