What the hell happened to conservatism? The republicans used to be conservatives. They honored some preset values and believed in traditions. They would defend american institutions and the ramparts of government. Generally having a distrust of large government and centralized authority and an absolute respect for rule of law. Republicans once saw tried and trusted systems of law as the best way to preserve freedom and an important wall against anarchy and tyranny of the mob. Most of those who claim to be Republican conservative are the mob today. They attempt to overturn legal elections even when dozens of judges across the nation toss out there their lawsuits because there is no evidence. They spend millions of dollars on election results audits in Maricopa county in Arizona only to find out our current president won by an even greater margin. They try to coerce election officials to find votes and change ballots. Ultimately they now resort to violence and mob rule. Now the mob works gerrymandering in most states and passes laws making it more difficult for everyone to vote.The days of respected conservatives like John McCain are in the distant past, replaced by the Marjorie Taylor Greenes who seem to prefer hate and division.
