LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park District is reviewing "all materials and information," after the Cook County Department of Public Health issued new mitigation orders requiring proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for anyone 5 and older to enter several types of indoor settings.
Effective Jan. 3, proof of vaccination must be shown to enter indoor dining establishments, event spaces, recreation and entertainment venues, and indoor settings for exercise and recreation, according to the health department.
The park district said it is working with the Park District Risk Management Association and legal counsel about updating its procedures.
"Please note that more detailed information will be forthcoming as soon as it is made available," the park district shared in an update on Facebook.
