STILLWATER, MN — A Stillwater boy will have $100,000 to put towards his college education after winning a scholarship as part of Minnesota's "Kids Deserve a Shot" campaign to encourage kids to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Jude Motter won the $100,000 scholarship for being fully vaccinated, Gov. Tim Walz announced Monday. Motter is one of five winners, with kids from Plymouth, Rochester and Apple Valley also receiving six-figure scholarships. The "Kids Deserve a Shot" campaign offered a slew of incentives, including $200 gift cards, tickets and gear from Minnesota's professional and college sports teams, a "zookeeper for a day" experience, and much more.
