CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office reported a missing 16-year-old girl believed to be a runaway. According to a news release issued Tuesday, Maria Baquedano-Cerpas was reported missing Dec. 9 from her Castro Valley home. She is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, about 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black and white pants and black Nike shoes. She may be headed to Oakland, but it is unknown whether she has money or is familiar with public transportation.
