The Material Handler is responsible for: Operating standard warehouse equipment Loading and unloading trucks Filling orders and correctly receiving delivered product Handling responsibilities in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity. Some duties and responsibilities: Use electric pallet jack, reach truck and forklift Use hand held scanning equipment for order fulfillment as required Repack and weigh any orders Work in a 1/2 dry and 1/2 cold warehouse Fills out all paperwork Lift 20- 50lbs Be professional and courteous Unload trucks, verify accuracy of BOL and quality of product to be received Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a clean and orderly fashion Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, OTR drivers, and the public Assist in physical inventory activities (cycle counting, Y/E PI, etc.) as needed. Other duties as assigned.
