Dear friends! I'm looking for a plumber / handyman to come to a our building in East Pittsburgh, PA. Scope of work is pretty simple. We're looking to install a laundry machine in the basement. Peoples Gas, the utility, is coming to install a meter tomorrow morning at 8:30-900am. I need someone to come there FIRST THING THURSDAY MORNING... around 6 a.m. - 7 a.m., and make sure that everything Upstream of the meter is closed. There's a Y upstream of the meter. One half goes to an open pipe.. it needs a cap... I think half inch but not positive... It used to be connected to a laundry machine... The other half of the Y connects to a valve. That valve just needs to be checked and pressure tested or inspected etc.... Peoples Gas cannot have a leaky gas line Upstream of the meter. Are you available first thing Thursday morning?
