Ballot Access Management LLC is hiring petitioners statewide to collect signatures on citizen initiative petitions. No experience is needed and comprehensive training is provided. These petitions allow Maine voters to decide important issues for themselves by placing questions on the statewide ballot. The current petitions we are circulating are for ballot questions to: Protect Maine elections from foreign governments and corporate spending Replace CMP with a nonprofit state owned utility company Petitioners are paid a base rate of $20 per hour, with bonuses equivalent to 3$ per signature collected. After gaining some experience a hard working petitioner can make over 30$ an hour with bonuses. You are able to make your own schedule week to week and are paid weekly. This is a job for outgoing, socially inclined people with thick skin. To succeed you will have to be comfortable approaching strangers and asking for their signature. You will also need to be able to bundle up and stand in the cold while you are petitioning. Past that, the job is simple, fun and rewarding.
