Female Drummer wanted for orig. indie rock trio

We are an indie-rock duo, with a dash of garage rock, and some jangle and power pop vibes, female bass and guy guitar. We previously had a F drummer and found it fit our vibe but if you are a M drummer that’s OK too! We need a drummer who is able to rehearse on Tuesday nights in Allston/Brighton, and is willing be able to gig occasionally. You should be in the greater Boston area. Age range can be anywhere in 40’s-50’s. What is important to us is not just your drumming ability but your taste in music so we are on the same wavelength. Our influences include the Pixies, New Order, the Chameleons, X, Husker Du, Echo, Morphine, Modern Lovers, Yo La Tengo, Small Factory, Miracle Legion, Wilco, Galaxie 500, Roxy Music, INXS, P-Furs, OMD, Bowie, Smiths, Joy Division, etc... We are music geeks, so you should kinda be one too, ideally? If you’re into jamming on the blues, again, sorry. But if you know what band put out "Singles Going Steady" … then we want to hear from you. We are not snobs - we like Tom Petty, Dylan and the Beatles too, but heck, everyone does. We are just trying to find that diamond in the rough and not some basic rock drummer. We have a rehearsal space with a drum kit, so you do not need to lug your kit around or have a space to play. We write, record and release original music and put out videos!
