We need a trainee or worker who is committed to learning all the skills necessary to provide a high standard of lawn service to our clientele. The following is a list of the necessary skills: ability to use a string trimmer or edger to maintain the edges of the grass; ability to use a backpack blower to blow off clippings and all hard surfaces; an ability to use a 30" commercial mower which is self propelled; an ability to care for the equipment and do daily maintenance checks on oil levels and check blades for sharpness and change blades when necessary. The following are required: 1) valid and clean drivers license. 2) Ability to pass a background check. 3) Ability to pass a drug test. 4) Non-smoker. 5) Ability to speak and read English The work would start in mid March of 2022 but in the meantime there may be some hours available shoveling snow and running a snow blower. On the job training will be provided. Ideal position for an early retiree who would like to work outdoors and earn some extra income. Position will be part-time initially but that could change to full time.
