Then continue reading: We are looking for a Rental Fence Installation Laborers that not only wants to have a job but to have a long term career. Pay is $15.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is responsible for installation, removal and repairing of t-fencing. Successful candidates will have demonstrated reliability. Overview of duties: • Prepare the site area for installation of the fence. • Locate, understand markings, and follow requirements for underground utility safety prior to pounding posts into ground. • Align posts, using lines or by sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts. • Pound posts into ground, asphalt or concrete using jack hammer, core drill and/or a gas/air pounder. • Attach silt fence or orange fencing material to posts, using hammers and pliers. • Stabilize fence with back fill material, sandbags or weights as needed. • Field repair fence panels for quality assurance. • Repair broken post braces as needed. • Carry materials to site for installation. • Fill sand or gravel bags using a shovel. • Move sand bags onto vehicle for transportation to job location. • Assist with the installation of rock berms by wrapping rip rap material with chicken wire using metal ties and pliers. • Work with the Field Supervisor for information and questions regarding site specifications. • Ensure the specifications for the site have been met. • Remove fence from site and safely load on the truck for disposal onto dumpster. • Maintain a clean work environment. • Follow company and government safety/health rules and regulations. Skills required: • Be on time • Respond to text or calls within an hour during 7am - 6pm • Attention to detail • Mastery with air/hand/power tools • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Experience Required: • 1 year heavy construction or farm work required • Prior fencing experience preferred Must have reliable transportation and means of communication.
