Roof Maintenance Crew and/Roof Repair Technicians Full-time / Hubbard, OR / Immediate Placement (Desplácese hacia abajo para español) Opportunity Pacific West Roofing is hiring a Roof & Gutter Maintenance Crew and Repair Technicians. If you are an experienced tradesperson with hands-on practical knowledge of roofing and roofing materials, we have a position for you. As a member of our team, you will service our commercial and residential roofing customers throughout the greater Portland metro area. What you will do -Clean and treat roofs and gutters for both commercial and residential buildings -Perform small repairs, install ventilation systems -Diagnose and perform multiple types of leak repairs on shingle roofs, shake roofs, and flat roofs -Understand and follow OSHA safety standards and practice them every day -Listen to supervisor and follow through with tasks required to complete job site work -Operate necessary equipment including a pickup truck, pressure washer, circular saw, and nail gun, and other tools to -perform job duties related to roof/gutter maintenance and repair -Other duties as assigned What you bring -1+ years’ roofing experience preferred but not required (we will train you) -Valid driver's license with clear record required -Roofing knowledge of materials preferred, but not required (we will train you) -Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus -Able to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos (English) -Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with team members What we expect -You are comfortable working at high elevations (1-3 stories) on both pitched and flat roofs -You understand and follow all required OSHA safety rules -You are able to safely lift 80 pounds properly -You work well in a team environment and with other team members -You will arrive on time (7:30 AM) every weekday with a positive attitude -You take pride in your work and are committed to doing your best work What we offer (Benefits) -Competitive Wage $18-$35/hr (starting wage dependent on experience) -Opportunity for growth -Paid Time Off -Medical Insurance -Vision Insurance -401k with 3% employer matching Why work at Pacific West Roofing?
