General contractor looking for experienced Commercial Carpenterto join our team. We self-perform many different trades, so you will be assisting as well as learning on the job tasks such as, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical. This positions allow the right candidates to learn from and be challenged by the unique characteristics of each project and the goals of each job site. Skills Required: Metal Stud Framing Drywall Hang Drywall Taping and Finishing (preferred) T-bar ceiling experience Demo experience Door Frames and Hardware Requirements: -Clean driving record and Valid CA Driver License. -Reliable transportation (Pickup Truck Preferred) -Have own set of tools i.e. carpenter bags, tape measure, hammer, pliers, speed square, torpedo level, chalk line, utility knife, cats paw, crescent wrench, hard hat, and work boots. -Ability to work well with others. -Good understanding of the commercial construction industry. Types of jobs we perform are: *Retail, Furniture stores (over 20 in the last 5 years), Strip and Mall stores, Restaurants, and Fast Food *Class "A" High-Rise, Tenant and Spec Improvements (with some after hour scheduling involved) *Office/Industrial low-rise office and warehouse lease spaces, T.I.'s and Clean and Show Turnovers *Medical Office Buildings, doctor's offices, clinics, and surgical suites *Schools and Financial Institutions *Mechanical Industrial sites If this sounds like something you would be interested in for the long term, let's proceed!
