eSalon is a custom hair care brand based out of El Segundo, CA. As an essential business, we have been open and thriving during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are practicing all safety measures to keep our team healthy and eSalon's Manufacturing Warehouse is looking for a Sanitizer to support the upkeep of our dispensing and compounding equipment. We are looking to fill 2 positions: 1 Day Shift, 6AM-2:30PM and 1 Night Shift, 3:30PM-12AM. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE : Support of all day to day warehouse operations in our Manufacturing Facility including but not limited to the following: • The Sanitizer is responsible for ensuring equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to SOPs to prevent contamination that would negatively impact the quality of our products. • Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with safety rules. • Support the R&D and Production teams on testing and implementing processes. • Demonstrates a consistency in performing assignment right the first time to ensure as much machine up time as possible. • Follow job assignments and schedules set by manager. • Become proficient verifying that parts are in good condition and report damaged items to manager. • Inform supervision of equipment failure and schedule conflicts. • Clean and sanitary in the handling of equipment and materials. • Perform various product transfer activities to ensure efficient operations including but not limited to, movement of raw materials from storage area to pre-weigh area, transfer of finished batch to totes or drums and final transfer into equipment. • Perform cycle counts on raw materials to support the compounding staff. • Wear personal protective equipment as required. • Perform general housekeeping (i.e. sweeping and mopping the floors, taking trash out, cleaning the drains, exc.) • Perform other duties that may be assigned by management. REQUIRED SKILLS: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on sanitizing experience. • Precise attention to detail. • Data entry and basic computer skills. • Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities, scheduling, and laying out assigned work activities. • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, checklists, forms and equipment instruction manuals that are written in English. • Strong safety record. • Familiarity with cGMP’s, safety procedures, sanitization, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
