Description
You would not know it from reading he CL political section, but political extremism is waining. Trump clearly inspired extremist radicals from BOTH sides. For the past few years, the extremists dominated the narrative. This occurred because the drama that the extremists create are great for main stream media.
Now that Trump is out of office, the moderates are the loudest voice once again. There will always be radical extremists when it comes to politics, but they are becoming irrelevant once again. The average American is a moderate. They may lean to the right to lean to the left, but in general they are moderates.
It is clear that the moderates are the clear majority of Americans and the moderates have taken over the narrative once again. Most Americas are exhausted by the drama and the insanity that extremists bring. Most Americans prefer that politics does not dominate the headlines. Most Americans prefer unity over the division that extremism brings.
Washington has returned to "business as usual". The circus has come to an end. It was entertaining while it lasted, but the show is over. For that, most of us are grateful.
