Putin is afraid that NATO will expand to Eastern Europe. He is trying to negotiate with Biden so that this does not occur. Biden is not having it. After 4 years of Trump allowing Russia to walk all over the U.S. Biden is not backing down. I suspect Bidens strength comes form the fact that unlike Trump, Biden does not owe Putin hundreds of millions of dollars. Even if Trump had the balls to stand up to Putin, he could not. Trump has defaulted on so many loans over the years with legitimate banks in the U.S., Putin is the only person who will lend him money. These loans with Russia are why Trump did not say a word to Russia after 6 major Russian cyber hacking attacks on U.S. while Trump was in office. Trump was obliged to Putin. Trump admires Putin. Trump is Putins bitch.
