Janitorial and Maintenance Position for Building/Event Space We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning maintenance. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, break rooms/kitchens etc.) Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Assisting with events on site Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to handle necessary equipment such as vacuums, buffers Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Able to work on a designated schedule & plan daily task accordingly Physically fit to lift or carry heavy items such as vacuums, mop buckets, cleaning tools, walk stairs where needed Integrity and ability to work independently High school degree English, Spanish speaking preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour Benefits: Premium Health Insurance (after 90 days probation period) 2 weeks paid vacation Holidays Bonus Schedule: 5 days 8 hour shift COVID-19 considerations: Proof of vaccination required for this position.
