Explore life drawing techniques and their relationship to the sense of self
Through the introduction of classic and contemporary famous self-portraits and the exploration of different life drawing techniques, we will explore the modern realities of self-portraits, social expectations and social constructs. We will use our portrait studies to represent who we are internally and externally, how we see ourselves, what we want others to see in us, and what we do in our daily lives to achieve this.
This program runs five Fridays from January 21st through February 18th; 10:00AM-11:30 and is designed for students ages 13-17.
