Unfortunately what I was afraid of has become reality. We broke down and bought our 9 year old a baby hedgehog earlier this year. She promised to take care of it and so and so on. Of course I have become the sole provider. I really like the little girl (hedgehog) but I have too much to take care of and someone else would probably enjoy her much more. If you don’t know about hedgehogs.. please research before inquiring. They are nocturnal and don’t have too much personality. But she does love to swim in the bathtub and she is pretty darn cute! We have quite a bit of money wrapped up in her and her whole set up. We’re not looking to recover the whole cost of everything. She will come with her cage, wheel, heat lamp and water jug.
