Welcome to the team registration for The Classic City BBQ Challenge! Please join us at the famous Terrapin Brewery in Athens, GA. Welcome to the team registration for The Classic City BBQ Challenge. This event is located at the Terrapin Brewery in beautiful and historic Athens, GA, home of the Dawgs! There will be live music, games, access to the brewery, food vendors, and much more. Not only is this a KCBS sanctioned Masters Series Professional event, but it's also being held for a good cause. The proceeds raised will go towards benefiting The Youth Bright Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the early intervention among youth and young adults suffering from mental health issues. 20 and 30 amp hookups will be provided Friday and Saturday (see entry fees on Registration page) There will be a purse of $10,000 : Grand Champion Reserve Champion 1st - 5th place each category - Chicken, Ribs, Pork, and Brisket Thursday, May 5th, 2022: After 12 pm - Teams and Food Vendors may load in Friday, May 6th, 2022: 5 pm - BBQ Cooks Meeting Saturday, May 7th, 2022: 12 pm - Chicken turn in 12: 30 pm - Ribs turn in 1 pm - Pork turn in 1:30 pm - Brisket turn in 5 pm - BBQ Award Ceremony
