Arizona's Only full-day Geography Education Conference! Join us in person for learning, networking, prizes, and fun! When:  Saturday, February 5th, 2022 | 8:00am - 3:30pm | Where:  Desert Willow Conference Center 4340 E. Cotton Center Boulevard, Phoenix AZ Cost:   Free** except for Eventbrite required fees of about $4.75 that are non refundable. You must register and pay a $45 deposit, which covers the cost of breakfast and lunch. If you attend, your deposit (minus the $4.75 fee) will be refunded.  If you do not attend, we will keep the deposit. Cancellations must be made by 1/24/2022 to have your deposit returned. Please know that once an order is placed, eventbrite fees can not be refunded. Deadline for registration: Monday,  January 24th, 2022 What can I expect from GeoConference?   GeoConference offers concurrent sessions featuring: Demonstrations of Elementary & Secondary level lessons that you can teach the next day.Hands-on Lessons that integrate geography with STEM, history, language arts, and more.Geography content lectures. Lessons that include strategies for teaching English Language Learners and other diverse populations.Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Door Prizes, and Free Materials6.5 Professional Development hoursand a few surprises!Please note: For this event, all CDC and Arizona State University policies concerning COVID will be followed. This includes and is not limited to required face coverings in common areas, sessions, and when physical distancing is not possible. In addition, each room will have restrictions for seating and capacity. If you are sick or have any symptoms, please do not attend.
