TAMPA, FL — Detectives have begun investigating a second Tampa fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a park, according to authorities. Tampa police were notified by the communications center just before 4 p.m. that a person had been shot in Takomah Trail Park, deputies said. An unrelated earlier shooting death took place at about noon at a Tampa intersection, according to police. The public is not in danger, cops said. The victim died from gunshot wounds at the park location, investigators said.
