Senior citizen in NE Seattle (near Sand Point Country Club on bus route 79) seeks experienced reliable punctual House Cleaner/Housekeeper to clean his home once a week on Fridays or Saturdays for 4 hours. Work to be done 1-5pm or as mutually agreed, on the designated Friday or Saturday. Work is steady and will continue indefinitely. Previous housekeeper employed for 10 years, recently separated due to changes in her Friday/Saturday availability.
Typical cleaning routine: sweeping, vacuuming, Swiffer mopping and dusting, clean kitchen sink and counter, change and launder bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels, clean two bathrooms, empty waste baskets, consolidate food waste, garbage, and recycling, etc. All work can be accomplished in 4 hours. Refreshment breaks and snacks will be provided. All cleaning equipment and supplies are provided.
The home is one story (no stairs), 1500 sq. ft. of living space and is carpeted (no children, no pets).
Compensation: $21.25 per hour ($85 per visit) plus a bonus payment in recognition of continued satisfactory performance: $100 at the end of each calendar quarter.
Start Date: As may be agreed, hopefully in January.
