CITY OF MIDDLETOWN SET TO DISTRIBUTE HOME COVID-19 SELF TESTS OR "iHEALTH KITS BEGINNING ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2021 AT TWO SITES-THE MIDDLETOWN HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT-DRIVE THRU ONLY & MACDONOUGH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-WALK-UP ONLY FROM 10 A.M.-2 P.M.
In Middletown, the city will begin the distribution of the COVID-19 Home Self Test "IHealth Kits" beginning on Friday, December 31st at the Middletown High School parking lot which will be drive thru only and MacDonough School-walk up only according to City Health Acting Director Kevin Elak. Elak stated, "We will be distributing test kits on Friday 12/31. There will be 2 distribution sites – Middletown High School (drive up) and Macdonough School (walk-up only) from 10am – 2:00pm. Kits will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Proof of residency will be required. Limit of 2 test kits per household. N-95 masks will be distributed at a later date. An additional shipment of rapid test kits will be arriving the next week or two for distribution to K-12 schools in Middletown." MHS is located at 200 La Rosa Lane & MacDonough School is located at 66 Spring Street.
