GREENWICH, CT — With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise both nationally and locally, many people are rushing to get tested as the New Year approaches.
Earlier this week, Gov. Ned Lamont announced that Connecticut plans to distribute 3 million COVID-19 at-home rapid tests and 6 million N95 masks in Connecticut to try and slow the spread of COVID-19 during this heavy travel and holiday season.
Distribution is expected to begin this week and continue into the next. In the meantime, there are a few testing site locations open in Greenwich.
According to 211Connecticut, two COVID-19 testing sites are open in Greenwich:
Greenwich Hospital/Yale New Haven Health COVID-19 Testing Drive-Up Site — 5 Perryridge Road (Emergency Department entrance on Lake Avenue)

Everpoint Health COVID-19 Rapid Testing Drive-Up Site — 644 W. Putnam Ave.
Appointment needed. Check holiday hours.
There is also a rapid COVID-19 antigen test site at CVS Pharmacy — 1239 E. Putnam Ave., Riverside.
Appointment needed. No appointments available at the moment.
