Press release from Travis County Sheriff's Office: December 27, 2021 TCSO has obtained a warrant for the arrest of Christopher Isaiah Martinez, 25, a transient believed to be living in Austin, for Murder. Bond is set at $500,000. Martinez is suspected of killing Jose Cruz Rivera, 25 of Manor on December 14, 2021. At 9:54 pm on December 14, 2021, TCSO deputies responded to a report of a person shot in the 13500 block of James Garfield Street. Upon arrival, deputies found Rivera, deceased, with a gunshot wound.
