CLOSTER, NJ — Ever wanted to drive a Maserati? What if you could win one on the cheap? There's a chance that dream can come true in January for one New Jersey resident.
The Borough of Closter has opened an auction for a 2015 Maserati Quattroporte, and entries are open until Jan. 4.
The online auction is open to the public at municibid.com, and New Jersey residents are able to bid in this government auction online, 24-7.
According to a news release, all of the proceeds from the auction are going "right back into improving the Borough of Closter's local community." A hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction go back to the Borough of Closter, officials said.
The funds will be used for road maintenance, setting up local events for residents, community programs and public safety initiatives, among other causes.
According to the release, the car has "63,150 miles on it, runs well, and is in good shape."
