SAN RAMON, CA — Two rings are sitting in a San Ramon Police Department box marked "found property," and the agency is trying to reunite the valuable jewelry its their owners.
Both rings were found within the last two years on separate occasions.
The first one, a gold ring with multiple stones and vintage in appearance, was found in January 2020 on the floor of a local bank, police said.
The bank kept the ring in a case in case the owner returned, but recently turned it over to police.
The second ring, a silver, engagement-style ring (maybe platinum or white gold) with a rectangular center stone, was found on Dec. 21 at a local shopping center.
"A more detailed description, photo, and/or the location of where the ring was lost will be required to prove ownership," the SRPD wrote on its Instagram page.
"If you think either ring belongs to you, please contact the Property and Evidence Division at [email protected]."
