MORRISVILLE, PA — A house fire broke out in Morrisville on Sunday, Dec. 26, which left neighbors thinking there was an explosion. According to firefighters that were on the scene, no explosions happened anywhere near the house. Around 11 p.m. the night after Christmas, neighbors reported hearing an explosion from a house located on Wilfred Drive. This was followed by what was described as a small porch fire at the house. Firefighters and officials say there was no explosion. Rather, the homeowner tossed embers from the stove onto the porch and they caught fire.
