ORLAND PARK, IL — A new exhibition at the Orland Park History Museum will recognize some of the most important women in the history of the south suburbs, museum officials announced. The exhibit, called Her-Story: The Life and Times of Orland Park Women, is set to open on Jan. 7 and will run through May 28. The exhibit's opening will kick off with refreshments and a presentation detailing the importance of focusing on women throughout history, according to the museum's website. Residents ages 18 and up can attend the event on Friday, Jan. 7 from 6 - 8 p.m. After opening night, residents of all ages can attend the exhibition. Entry fees are $10 for those who purchase a museum membership package and $15 for non-residents who wish to see the exhibition.
