PITTSBURGH, PA — Because of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Pittsburgh Mayor-elect Ed Gainey's inauguration Monday will be virtual, the city announced. Gainey will be the city's 61st mayor and the first Black one. The inauguration will be preceded by an interfaith prayer service Sunday that will be live-streamed on Gainey's Facebook page and on Twitter.
