Spring Classes | January – March
Start your garden season off right with our early Spring classes! We will cover garden planning starting seeds and caring for plant starts and tool selection to get your garden dreams off the ground.
Planning Your Garden - January 22nd - 2pm-4pm
This class will cover the basics of planning out your garden for the year including how to choose your plants budgeting and beneficial placements and timing.
Starting Seeds: Getting Started Troubleshooting and Beyond - February 12th - 2pm-4pm
Starting your own seeds can be intimidating but it also happens to be empowering and cost-effective! This class will explore the basics of how to start your own seeds as well as potential problems you’ll run into understanding your seeds (and seed packets) and what to look for in healthy seedlings.
Tool Selection and Use for Home Gardening - March 5th - 2pm-4pm
The basic knowledge and skills of how to maintain fix and build things on the farm and homestead are essential in moving towards self-sufficiency and community resilience. Join GC Keenan Phillips for a hands-on workshop about tools and skills commonly used on the farm and homestead. The workshop will include basic information on tools and safety and focus on some common needs around water carrying electricity and construction.
