Valet Indoor Parking Attendant (part time, Fridays 7:00pm-12:00 midnight / Saturdays 3:00pm-12 midnight / holidays) Department: Garage Basic Function: Park and Retrieve Cars in a timely, safely and professional manner Ability to study during down time! JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school education or equivalent Valid driver’s license Clean driving record Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions (will train the right person) Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing Ability to climb steps repeatedly Reliable, courteous, responsible personality Flexible schedule SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Park and deliver cars for residents/guests in a timely and safely fashion within a heated underground garage Be helpful and courteous to all residents/guests Assist residents/guests with packages Open garage mail room entrance door for residents/guests Assist with vehicle lockouts Keep garage office and surrounding area clean and tidy Keep walk-in door, driveway entrance, and adjacent sidewalk free and clear of debris/snow All driving-related tickets and offenses must be reported to the Manager within one business day of the occurrence. (This includes getting ticketed or arrested for driving violations that are not work-related. Parking tickets do not need to be reported.) Please note that failure to report any driving violations in a timely manner may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
