EDINA, MN — A man who was shot several times Monday declined help from Edina police and refused to cooperate with their investigation after seeking treatment, according to officials.
The 23-year-old was driving in Edina around 8:50 p.m. Monday when he called for medical assistance from Hennepin EMS, which then notified the Edina Police Department, officials said.
Both agencies responded to the injured man, who called from the intersection of France Avenue and 65th Street, police said.
The man was taken Monday evening to the Hennepin County Medical Center to be treated for multiple apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
He refused to cooperate with police or share any information about the shooting, though he confirmed it did not occur in Edina, according to the city's police department.
