PLEASE HELP!!!! LOOKING FOR A HOME FOR OUR DOG!!! I am looking for a new home for my little chihuahua/papillon mix female dog. Her name is Mia (mee-ah). We are in a desperate situation to find her a home by January 4th. We rescued her 10 years ago. The vet at the time said she was 8, but that would make her 18, and she is far from old. She is probably around 14. She has no health problems, and acts as if she will out-live all of us. She is a tad spunky, she prefers woman over men and has never been around young children. We don't have any other animals in the home either. She barks a lot when people come home, and definitely tries to protect our house if people walk by..lol. She's potty trained, but does tend to have accidents if there is carpet. If you walk her regularly, the accidents will stop. She needs to be trimmed. Her nails get long and sharp, so she wouldn't be good to have around older people as she may scratch accidentally. I can supply her crate, blankets, her one toy she loves, food and treats.
