Day 3 of Daisy Missing
We’re constantly updating various platforms looking for Daisy. Daisy went missing on December 26th in the afternoon from 10th St between Locust and Gibbs in Pomona, CA. A man around the block on Locust stated he had her and went door to door looking for her owners before taking her to a small homeless camp around 5 blocks away, stating he knew someone there would look after her. That homeless camp is located on 6th and Elm St.
I’ve been to that homeless camp everyday since she went missing. I’ve talked to the people there and only 1 person thinks he may have seen her but I have no other leads. Another woman on 8th and Palomares thought she may have seen her (which I stated on my first post), but I have since verified it was not Daisy through her video footage. I’ve been showing her picture and gave neighbors my contact information in case they do come across her.
I called the Humane Society yesterday with no luck and visited in person today with the same outcome. I’ll be calling and going to other local shelters.
Part of me feels the man that said he had her may have given her to a friend/family member and I question whether anyone at the homeless camp even seen him dump Daisy. I’ve attempted to find this man to speak with him again and get more information, but now I can’t locate him.
I’m very greatful for all the help and kind words on all these platforms. Please continue to keep an eye out for her. It’s been a very emotional few days and I refuse to give up. As I stated before, my greatest hope is that she is in a warm home until we can be reunited. I also hope that if someone does have her, they bring her back home. Or if you see her with someone, please reach out to me.
I’m making posters today and will be handing them out and posting.
